6 p.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2019New London Science & Technology Magnet High SchoolA debate among the candidates for New London’s City Council will be at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the New London Science & Technology Magnet High School, 490 Jefferson Ave., on the high school campus.
The debate is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Southeastern Connecticut, Centro de la Comunidad and the New London NAACP.
Only three incumbents are running this year for seats on what will be a markedly A debate is scheduled for February 20 before the Special Election for a Representative to the 39th district, moderated by a member of the League of Women Voters, Southeastern Connecticut. A journalist from The Day will ask the candidates questions.

Debate starts at 6:15, at the New London Science magnet School in New London. In case of snow, and a snow day is called, the Debate will be SEPTEMBER 25, TUESDAY
National Voter Registration Day
The League of Women Voters of Southeastern CT will be at three area libraries (Groton, New London and Norwich) to help people register to vote or to update their voter registration if they have moved or changed their names.
Register, check your registration online, or just come and say, hello.
